Service Description

This fast-paced 90-minute class is designed for adult and teen dancers ready to deepen their contemporary practice with a strong focus on choreography, technique, and performance quality. Each session builds progressively, with choreography developing week to week—allowing dancers to refine movement quality, musicality, coordination, stamina, and expressive detail over time. Rather than starting from scratch each class, material is layered and expanded, encouraging deeper embodiment and artistic growth. Classes include a dynamic warm-up, technical drills, and extended choreography sequences that challenge both physical ability and interpretive range. This is an engaging, full-bodied class for dancers who want to be pushed artistically and physically within a supportive environment. Ideal for dancers seeking to engage more deeply with the physical and artistic rigour of contemporary dance. Dress Code: Comfy, form-fitting dancewear + bare feet or contemporary shoes + hair secured back. As Laurence is on maternity leave until mid-October, we are offering an 8-week session from Oct 21–Dec 16. Full-session registration includes unlimited access to the Monday Maintenance Barre / Open Ballet class (7–8 pm). Please note: this class does not run on Ukrainian Dance dates (Oct 28, Nov 9, Nov 23, Dec 7, Dec 21). Price: $222/session or $28 drop-in
