Beginner Ballet + Contemporary

Service Description

Co-taught by Diana and Laurence, this upbeat 90-minute class blends the elegance of ballet with the expressive freedom of contemporary movement. Designed for adults and teens who are absolute beginners or returning to dance, it offers a supportive, no-pressure environment to build rhythm, coordination, strength, and mobility. Each week naturally builds on the material from the previous class, helping dancers develop confidence, familiarity with movement patterns, and comfort with both technique and style over time—without pressure to “get it right.” With an uplifting soundtrack and a focus on the joy of movement, this class is all about feeling good in your body while exploring two beautiful dance forms. No experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to move. Dress Code: Comfy, form-fitting clothes + ballet shoes or socks + hair secured back. As Laurence is on maternity leave until mid-October, we are offering an 8-week session from Oct 22–Dec 17. Full-session registration includes unlimited access to the Monday Maintenance Barre / Open Ballet class (7–8 pm). Please note: this class does not run on Ukrainian Dance dates (Oct 28, Nov 9, Nov 23, Dec 7, Dec 21). Price: $222/session or $28 drop-in
